More About Michael Winchester
Born in 1592 in the highlands of Scotland, he is still alive. He is immortal. For 400 years he's been a warrior, a lover, a wanderer, constantly facing other immortals in combat to the death.… (Ed. Note - No, wait that's someone else.)
Michael Winchester has been performing on stage since he was eight years old (Ed. Note – Whew, that’s better). Over the years he's has picked up a few skills: stage combat, escape artistry, acrobatics, and other “Stupid Human Tricks.” In his leisure time, he enjoys banging around a sword with the guys or flinging a woman in the air…while swing dancing. He started performing at the Maryland Renaissance festival in 2001 when he decided he truly wanted to put his acting skills to the test. He thought there could be no greater challenge then playing several characters, on a stage the size of a village, 8 hours a day, improvising most of his script, for an audience of 5,000 to 23,000 people per day. Then, he started learning Commedia dell’ Arte with Teatro! As hard as he claims we work him, he admits that this is some of the most rewarding and fun work that he does.
Towering at 6 feet 5 inches tall, Michael could never afford to be a starving artist. When he's not on stage, he can usually be found bouncing at one of the local Irish pubs in Baltimore, Maryland.
Enough about me, lets talk about you...
